| Melanie Oudin Believes in QuickStart Tennis! NEGTA will host a QuickStart Tennis Workshop for adults. This 2 hour interactive on-court workshop is conducted by Bill Dopp, a USTA certified QuickStart Trainer and tennis professional, and is open to all parents, grandparents, coaches, teachers, and adults who would like to learn about the USTA's QuickStart Tennis format for children. Sign up now for this great opportunity to let out your inner child and discover new ways to have fun and support the growth of junior tennis in our community. Registration fee is $10.00. NEGTA will rebate $5.00 to the first twenty registrants, upon successful completion of the workshop. Sign up now and make plans to learn and have some fun on the court. The 2009 Year End Ratings have been released. To see your End of Year 2009 ratings, Access Year End 2009 Ratings, enter your USTA number and click "Go". You may click the "Appeal" link to appeal your rating. Volunteer Opportunity for Adult Tennis Players
Needed: Adult tennis players to share the joy of tennis and coach/develop a team of aspiring tennis players.
The Boys and Girls Club of Hall County needs assistance to prepare and coach beginning boys and girls ages 6-11 to participate in Junior Spring League. The first match is March 21st, and matches continue weekly on Sunday afternoons at 2PM.
Preseason practices are being held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 4:45 - 5:45PM. If you are interested in helping develop the junior tennis talent in our community, please call Jane Joiner 770-377-4609 for additional information. |
