NEGTA's  Policy on Dual Facilities

Subject:   Teams using Hall County facilities as home courts for USTA Atlanta leagues

Northeast Georgia Tennis Association (NEGTA) petition USTA Atlanta to allow specific Hall County facilities, which are named below, to play in USTA Atlanta leagues out of their Hall County facility under the following circumstances:

Any Adult, Mixed or Combo league USTA Atlanta offers that plays on Saturday or Sunday

• If a team registers for the NEGTA Winter Mixed league and there are 3 or less teams, the teams will be given the following options:Play several round robins and then be allowed to register in the USTA Atlanta Spring Mixed league and play out of their Hall County Facility.NEGTA removes the team and places them in the USTA Atlanta Spring Mixed league. Ratings will be adjusted to reflect the year-end rating and the players will be responsible for the difference in registration fees.
• This request was approved, the policy will be reviewed annually in March and would be subject to change beginning with the following Summer season.

55 & older leagues

Mixed teams play a combination of  year end NTRP levels at 6.0, 7.0 & 8.0.  Men and women make up these teams and their cannot be more than a 1 point difference between the players. Example a women at 3.0 can play with a man at 4.0. Mixed plays 3 lines of doubles on Friday nights. This league will start mid May.

Combo teams play 3 lines of doubles using year end ratings. Levels of play are 5.5, 6.5 & 7.5. League play will start in June. Men's & Women leagues available.  Saturday women  will be available if requested.     All leagues will play a third set Coman tie break .

55 & older teams will play 3 lines of doubles . Currently registering 3.0 women - play Thursday morning & 3.5  women - play Monday mornings.  All other levels by request.
