TENNISLINK - PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS

Teri Miller sends along some of the problems that have cropped up and provides ways to work around them. If you continue to have a problem, contact her by clicking on her name.

1. The most important thing to do first is to sign on with your USTA # in the yellow ball. Sound simple but it is the most often forgotten. This makes it so the program can identify you and then it knows what level of information you should have.

2. Please correct any information that is incorrect. When asked for your e-mail address please supply it. This makes getting in touch easier. When you sign up for a team please check to see if your address & phone numbers are correct. If not let Teri Miller know and she will have it corrected. Having correct information insures that your captain and coordinators can get in touch with you.

3. If you have not received a CONGRATULATIONS YOU HAVE SUCCEEDED in whatever task you are trying, YOU DID NOT SUCCEED. This means there is a problem, so try again or call Teri and she will walk you through it.

4. Deadlines are set in cement, which means if you do not establish a team on or before the deadline you cannot have a team. The program will not allow you to sign up a team after the deadline. You can establish a team number with just one player.

5. Score entry should be done by the winning captain within 24 hours of completion of the match. The losing captain must confirm or dispute the scores by 48 hours of completion of match. The computer will not take a partial match score. A dispute will flag the match and the LLC will know there is a problem. If there is a problem notify Teri.

If you have any problem or question on how TennisLink works, please call Teri Miller and she will help you out.
